Here are the top three stories in Savannah today:
- Savannah and Chatham County leaders joined together on Tuesday to persuade the federal government to take decisive action on energy investment. The leaders want to see America become energy independent through the $550 billion Build Back Better plan. Savannah officials touted the 100% Savannah Clean Energy Plan's goals and strategies during the roundtable. (Savannah Morning News)
- Savannah faith leaders gathered for a Voter Awareness Rally on Tuesday. The event was held at Connors Temple Baptist to encourage the community to register to vote. The deadline for voter registration is on Apr. 25 with the state's primary elections on May 24. (WTOC)
- Local 9to5 Georgia, a nonprofit addressing childcare accessibility, is asking Chatham County parents to fill out a survey. It takes about ten minutes to complete the survey meant to gather information regarding childcare challenges faced by the community. The survey will be available until the end of this month and can be taken by clicking the link. (WTOC)
