Here are the top three stories in Savannah today:

  1. Chatham County officials are warning residents of a new phone scam. Scammers are reportedly calling residents while impersonating law enforcement officers while demanding payments over the phone. 2. A new bill meant to address funding for three Savannah water projects has been introduced by the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. The bill will secure federal money for the Tybee Island beach nourishment project, the Brunswick Harbor Modifications Project, and the feasibility study for Savannah Harbor. The bill is reportedly expected to pass with bipartisan support. (fox28media.com)
