Here are the top three stories in Savannah today:

  1. After three years of renovation, the Georgia Historical Society's new research center has finally opened. This project is the largest in the history of GHS, costing five million dollars. 3. A blind veteran says a Savannah restaurant refused him service due to his service dog. Robert Walls entered Outback Steakhouse on Abercorn last week with his family and his guide dog. Upon being seated, staff reportedly told Walls the dog would need to move under the table as per state law. Outback said in a statement, "The service animal was permitted, and reasonable accommodations were offered to the guest and his service animal." (WJCL News Savannah)
