🌱Historical Event For Savannah Realtors + Savannah Kwanzaa Krawl

The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today in Savannah.

(Patch Media)

Good morning, Savannah! Here's everything you need to know to get this Thursday started off right.

First, today's weather:

Plenty of sunshine. High: 59 Low: 37.

Here are the top three stories in Savannah today:

  1. Rodney Rawls has been installed as the first African-American President of Savannah Area Realtors. Over 200 members attended the annual luncheon on Dec. 16 to witness the historical event. (Savannah Tribune)
  2. Savannah will hold its second annual Kwanzaa Krawl, which marks the 38th annual citywide celebration of the nonreligious holiday. The Krawl will take place at a variety of restauarants around the city on Dec. 26 until Jan. 1. (Connect Savannah.com)
  3. Savannah City Council discussed potential term limits on Tuesday. Currently, there are no limits for any alderperson on city council. Alderman Kurtis Purtee explained that term limits "[protect] the community" and "[ensure] equity, quality and fairness." (fox28media.com)
