  1. The Chatham County Health Department started administering flu vaccines on Monday. The Health Department states that it is extremely important to get the shot this year compared to 2020, because many people's immune systems were protected against the flu last year, due to more people receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. Sierra Peebles, the Interim County Manager at the Chatham County Health Department, has warned of the serious results contracting COVID-19 and the flu simultaneously can have, but says that the COVID and flu vaccines can be administered at the same time.   2. Calvin Farr, 59, has been found safe by the Savannah Police Department after apparently going missing over two weeks ago. Before he was located yesterday, Farr was last seen on the 1400 block of Coffee Bluff Road on Sept. 19. (WSAV-TV)
  3. The new Enmarket Arena in Savannah will hit the ground running in 2022 with January bookings of rising country star Riley Green (Jan. 14) and comedian Trevor Noah (Jan. 15). (Savannah Now)
  4. Service Brewing Co. is celebrating seven years of craft beer and charity in Savannah with their Seventh Anniversary Party on Oct. 9. (Savannah Morning News)
