Here are the top three stories today in Savannah:
- The Chatham County Board of Registrars held a meeting on Monday for a hearing on election eligibility challenges. During the meeting, a resident challenged the voting registration of almost 100 different people. Election boards across the state have been swamped with election challenges since the state allowed residents to file unlimited registration challenges against other residents. Today (Oct. 11) is the last day to register to vote for the Nov. 8 election. (WTOC)
- The Great Ogeechee Seafood Festival will be returning on Friday at 5:00 p.m. at J.F. Gregory Park. Event organizers are expecting a record crowd of tens of thousands of guests. City Leaders are expecting a major economic boost from the festival. Click to get tickets! (WTOC)
- The Savannah Police Department is currently searching for a man connected to a terroristic threat investigation. Eddie Glover, 32 years old, is wanted for questioning. The department is asking anyone with information about Glover's whereabouts to contact CrimeStoppers. (WJCL News Savannah)
