Here are the top three stories in Savannah today:

  1. The Savannah Police Department reports via a Twitter post that a missing teenager has been found safe. Christopher Smith, 15, went missing on Friday in the 11400 block of Largo Drive. The department asked for the community's help in locating the teenager on the autism spectrum. (WJCL News Savannah)
  2. Gulfstream hosted a hiring event at Savannah Tech's Campus on Friday. The event was the company's effort to fill over 500 open positions ranging from entry-level to positions that require more experience. Gulfstream is one of Savannah's largest employers and is hoping to capitalize on the area's talent pool, according to the company's Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition. (WTOC)
  3. The City of Savannah is postponing its Martin Luther King Junior Day celebrations this year. The events were postponed in January due to spiking COVID-19 infection rates with a possible April rescheduling. Organizers have decided to postpone the celebrations until 2023 since the timing will likely conflict with Easter weekend celebrations. (WSAV-TV)
