Here are the top stories in Savannah today:
- Dozens gathered at Daffin Park on Saturday morning for a one-mile walk in the name of unity in the community. The walk was sponsored by the Baha'i faith community, in commemoration of 100 years since the passing of Abdul-Baha Abbas Effendi, who served as the head of the Baha'i faith from 1892 to 1921. - Boats floated down the Savannah River on Saturday for the Savannah Harbor Foundation's annual Boat Parade of Lights. The event was shorter event than anticipated, but families were just excited to come out and spend some time together for the holidays. Families packed River Street to watch for one of the most popular events of the holiday season. (WTOC)
- After the retail frenzy of Black Friday, Savannah stores were hopeful to see a boost in sales again on Small Business Saturday. (WTOC)
