Here are the top 3 stories today in Savannah:

  1. A "Stay Well Savannah" event was hosted by The Cobb Institute, local health agencies, and the Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. - Savannah Chapter this week. The event was held to offer vaccines and counseling about the vaccines to communities hesitant about receiving them. The drive-thru event included Q&As from medical professionals as well as small monetary incentives for those who got their first, second, or booster dose of the vaccine. (WTOC)
  2. For the first time since COVID, the Savannah Book Festival returned to an in-person event this past weekend. Authors were present to discuss their books and host signings. The event also included food trucks and book sales. (WTOC)
  3. The Kids Fit Fest returned this year to the Savannah Children's Museum, hosted by the Junior League of Savannah. The 10th annual event featured kids and families gathered together to learn more about the importance of healthy eating and exercise. The event included educational activities and recreation.
