The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today in Savannah.

Good morning, Savannah! Like many of you, the Patch team is taking some time off to enjoy the holidays, so there will not be a newsletter in your inbox tomorrow. We appreciate your understanding of this slight pause in our schedule, and I will be back on Monday with the next edition of the Savannah Daily! Now, here's everything happening around town today.
First, today's weather:
Nice with plenty of sunshine. High: 69 Low: 48.
Here are the top three stories today in Savannah:
- The Savannah Lions Club received fundraising help from a local physician. Dr. David Oliver presented the Club with $10K to help with six nonprofits that receive monetary awards from the Club. (Savannah Morning News)
- A new city of Savannah service complex was named after the city's first African American Mayor. The Floyd Adams Jr. City Services Complex costs $43 million, and it is the step in the city's plan to move staff into city-owned buildings. It allows for more opportunities and more efficient services to residents. (WSAV-TV)
- Two armed robberies at Savannah Centre have employees on edge. They are not sure at the moment whether the two robberies are connected. There have been 24 businesses robbed at gunpoint this year in Savannah, according to SPD. (Savannah Morning News)
