🌱 Busiest Travel Week At SAV + Savannah Woman Donates 100 Hats
The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today in Savannah.

Morning, people of Savannah! It's me again, Sammi Caramela, your host of the Savannah Daily.
First, today's weather:
Heavy rain and a thunderstorm. High: 52 Low: 44.
Here are the top three stories in Savannah today:
- Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport is preparing for one of the busiest travel weeks of the year, as thousands of travelers prepare to make a trip home for the holidays. Local officials advise fliers to leave plenty of time, especially if they're traveling during peak times of early mornings, mid-day, and late afternoons. If you plan on departing during those times, it's recommended to arrive at least two hours before your flight to allow for easy access throughout the airport, say airport officials. (WSAV)
- A Savannah woman donated 100 handmade winter hats to the Canady's Coats for Kids campaign. Georgia Welcome took to crocheting during the pandemic and after 300 hours she had reached her goal of 100. (WTOC)
- Event planner Janae Carter discussed Savannah's first flower bomb. She decorated an area in the Historic District with flowers, bringing beauty to unexpected spaces for residents and visitors. (WTOC)
