An afternoon t-storm; humid. High: 85 Low: 70.

📢 I'm looking for business owners and marketers in Savannah who want to build awareness, connect with customers and increase sales.

I have a limited number of sponsorships available to introduce our Savannah Daily readers to local businesses they need to know about. If that's you, then I invite you to learn more and secure your spot now.

Here are the top three stories in Savannah today:

  1. The Chatham County Sheriff's Office hosted a shooting competition on Saturday to raise money to support Georgia youth homes. The event had five different stages with over 100 participants in several divisions. Sponsors throughout the community provided the competition's prizes. The event was such a success that the office wants to make it an annual event. (fox28media.com)
  2. The second annual Diversity and Inclusion Conference returned to Savannah on Saturday. The event was hosted by the Effingham Chamber of Commerce and the Savannah Interagency Diversity Council. The focus of the event was to raise awareness of the many dimensions of disability occurring in the local community. The conference's discussions will reportedly be posted to YouTube for everyone to watch. (WTOC)
  3. The City of Savannah is searching for local artists to design new storm drain artwork. The city hopes that the art installations will make people think twice before dumping trash into storm drains. Applications will be accepted by the city until Jun. 5, 2022. (fox28media.com)
