Here are the top three stories in Savannah today:
- The Savannah Interagency Diversity Council (SIDC) will be hosting a forum to raise awareness about human trafficking. SIDC is partnering with Savannah State University for the 2022 Savannah Traffick Jam on Jan. 28. The forum will be held at the Student Union Building on campus, and it will also be shown virtually in Statesboro and Brunswick. (Savannah Tribune)
- Local students' recipes were featured in a cookbook by Center Parc Credit Union and the Savannah Urban Garden Alliance. The cookbook documents the garden experience of Savannah elementary schools, and it was started to help Chatham County youth develop healthy habits. (Connect Savannah.com)
- A man was sentenced to 310 months in prison after admitting to producing child pornography in Savannah. The judge also ordered the man to register as a sex offender and to serve 10 years of supervised release after completion of his prison sentence. (WTOC)
