- A Savannah man received more than 50 years in federal prison for a violent crime spree. He was also ordered to pay $6,217.40 in restitution and to serve five years of supervised release after completion of his prison term. (WSAV-TV)
- Savannah State University hosted Public Safety Day on Wednesday. They educated the campus community about safety measures on campus, as well as future employment available to students. There were ten public safety agencies at the event. (WJCL News Savannah)
