Here are the top three stories today in Savannah:
- Savannah's beloved "Candy Man," Stan Strickland, passed away at the age of 78. Strickland was the founder of River Street Sweets and Savannah's Candy Kitchen, a fixture of the community. He died with family at his home following a short illness. Donations are being collected in his memory for the improvement of Savannah's Waterfront. (WJCL News Savannah)
