🌱 Murder Suspect Charged + Coalition To Rename Calhoun Square

Here are the top three stories in Savannah today:
- A cutting assault at a gas station has left one man dead and a suspect charged with murder. On Sunday morning, Savannah police responded to the Pump N Go on the 2300 block of Ogeechee Road where Raeem Sinclair, 41, was suffering from life-threatening injuries.
Sinclair later died of his injuries at the hospital. Wade Hicklin Richardson, 51, turned himself in and has been booked for murder. (WJCL News Savannah) - The Coalition To Rename Calhoun Square recently held its monthly meeting where members taught guests about the history behind certain city squares and their namesakes. "We want to rename one of our squares from Calhoun Square to a brand new square, Susie King Taylor Square, and so every month for the past year we have invited the public out to a public square to just teach them the importance of why we want to do this," said Patt Gunn, Cochair of The Coalition To Rename Calhoun Square. The square could be renamed as early as May. (WSAV-TV)
- Stacker has compiled a list of the highest and lowest-paying health care jobs in Savannah. The lowest paying job was nursing assistants with an annual mean salary of $26,740. The highest paying health job in Savannah was surgeons with an annual mean salary of over $280,000. (McDuffie Progress)
