Here are the top three stories in Savannah today:

  1. The Savannah Police Department has arrested a 17-year-old for allegedly carjacking a Savannah man at gunpoint on Wednesday. The teen was part of a group of three teens that hijacked the vehicle at a Savannah gym on Abercorn Street. The victim was not injured during the incident. The department is still investigating the incident. (WSAV-TV)
  2. The Savannah Music Festival has announced its schedule and lineup for the 2023 season. The festival will run from Mar. 23 through Apr. 8 next year. The new lineup reportedly expands on the organization's effort to provide a compelling musical experience of global scope within the city's Historic District.   3. The Savannah Police Department has launched a new bike unit. The unit will be patrolling the city's neighborhoods on bicycles, allowing officers to go to places they've never gone before. The new unit will also allow the department to be more approachable to the community. The bike unit will consist of 25 officers. (WJCL News Savannah)
