  1. The Savannah Fire Department is seeking information in a vehicle arson investigation. The SFD says someone stole a red 2017 Kia Rio Monday from the 2400 Block of Florance St.
    Officials say the person or persons abandoned the car and set it on fire in the 2200 Block of Causton Bluff Road on Tuesday. (WSAV-TV)
  2. The Savannah police department is leaning on its remote support center as COVID-19 cases rise among first responders. From June 2020 to August 2021, the SPD had a total of 145 positive cases. With the recent surge of the Delta variant, numbers have increased among first responders. (WSAV-TV)
  3. For the Savannah city council, the push to end gun violence never stops as homicide numbers are unchanged from last year. (fox28media.com)
