- In response to the controversial anti-abortion law in Texas, a women's rights march will be happening this morning in Savannah. The event begins at 11 a.m. at the Forsyth Park Fountain and will march down Bull Street towards Johnson Square. Organizers say the marchers will stick to sidewalks, limiting the impact on traffic. (WTOC)
- A Chatham County grand jury has recently indicted a mother after her 12-year-old was killed in a crash last month. Madrina McCay, 41, is indicted on charges including vehicular homicide and DUI. According to Georgia State Patrol, McCay was behind the wheel on Johnny Mercer Boulevard when her vehicle struck a tree near Turner Rock Road on Aug. 23, killing her 12-year-old son. (WJCL News)
- A COVID-19 vaccination clinic will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Agape Family Life Center in Hardeeville; registration is not required. (Bluffton Today)
- The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a sneak peek of the new Atlantic Building in the Entertainment District. (WSAV-TV)
- The interchange at Interstate 16 and I-516 was recently named for Rep. Bobby Hill, a longtime Savannah civil rights advocate, and representative. (WJCL News)
