  1. The Savannah Technical College Foundation is partnering with Bank of America on a new workforce development initiative. Bank of America has committed $250,000 in funding to that will be split over two years and focused on removing financial barriers for low- to middle-income, underrepresented minority students. The Savannah Black Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its biennial gala, Celebration of Black Businesses Continuing the Legacy of Resilience, on Nov. 11, 2021, at the Ralph Mark Gilbert Civil Rights Museum Annex. From dynamic speakers to a silent auction, this black carpet event will be an inspiring night of celebration for the dedication, passion, and resilience of black businesses rooted in the Hostess City.
