- Zunzi's is teaming up with Cure Childhood Cancer on Sunday for Zunzifest. The South African-inspired restaurant giving away free Conquistador sandwiches to 500 customers and donating 26 percent of its proceeds from all other sales that day to Cure Childhood Cancer. (WTOC)
- Fourteen people have been arrested and charged with drug trafficking in a community known as "The Dips" on the west side of Savannah, says the U.S. Department of Justice. Charges levied against the defendants include conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and to distribute crack cocaine. (WTOC)
- Savannah's Housing Affordability Task Force has laid out a 10-year plan for gradual change in the housing options and the affordable housing-income gap. (fox28media.com)
- A house fire that broke out early Friday morning at the 2000 block of Packard Ave. has left five people unharmed but temporarily displaced. (WJCL News)
