• Update In Death Of Woman Dismembered In Smyrna Released (patch.com) — Smyrna residents are learning new details about the killing of 26-year-old Shanteria Mosley, after an autopsy revealed she had been shot in the head and dismembered in a Valley Parkway apartment. Police say 18-year-old Kingston Bradley faces multiple charges, while investigators continue seeking tips from anyone who saw or heard anything near the Smyrna complex around the time of her death.
   

• QXO Volunteers Help Repair Smyrna Senior's Home (roofingcontractor.com) — A longtime Smyrna homeowner just received major safety repairs that will help her stay in her house, thanks to QXO volunteers partnering with Rebuilding Together Atlanta and the city's Senior Home Repair program. With support championed by Ward 5 Councilmember Susan Wilkinson, crews replaced damaged siding, improved the deck, added safety equipment, and handled pest control so this 75-year-old resident can safely age in place near her family and church.
