Apple Store in Cumberland Mall Will Open Saturday

The first 1,000 people to walk through the Apple Store at its new Cumberland Mall location on Saturday will receive a commemorative t-shirt, WhatNowAtlanta reports.

The store’s grand opening on Sept. 6 will end months of rumors regarding the location of Apple’s sixth Georgia store. Other Apple Stores in Georgia are located in Buckhead’s Lenox Square, Perimeter Mall, Augusta, Buford, and Alpharetta.

Tomorrow’s News Today reported in July that the 7,300 sq. ft. store will open on the first level of Zone E, directly below the Best Buy mobile store near center court. The new store will be the second-largest of its kind in Georgia; only Lenox Square’s Apple Store is larger, at 8,100 sq. ft.
