The next time you spout off an opinion, maybe you need to think about what you are saying/writing if you have not been there. If there is a meeting about major decision that impact our town, guess what ? Nobody goes, or hardly anyone. I have attended a few meetings over the past few weeks and major issues are on the table about how we spend our money here locally. Crickets are chirping with the involvement of local citizens. We currently have over 50,000 residents and it is a rare occurrence to see members of the community heavily involved in what goes on in town. Complaining after the fact is not enough, in fact, complaining in general is not enough either. Doing something is more true involvement. I, too, am busy with a family of 4 and dogs and work and the like. But, it is time to make the time for these activities that involve the future of every resident here in Smyrna. You can start tomorrow, it is a new day. Warm regards to all the cranks out there.
