Bennett Thrasher Named Best Accounting Firm to Work for by Accounting Today, For the Second Year in a Row

ATLANTA, Sept. 23, 2014 – Bennett Thrasher LLP is pleased to announce that it was recently named as one of the 2014 Best Accounting Firms to Work for by Accounting Today.

The annual Best Accounting Firms to Work for list was created by Accounting Today and Best Companies Group to identify, recognize and honor the best employers in the accounting industry, benefiting the industry’s economy, workforce and businesses. The list consists of 100 accounting firms from across the U.S., split into three groups: small companies (15-49 employees), medium-sized companies (50-249 employees) and large companies (more than 250 employees). Bennett Thrasher ranked in the medium-sized category.

Accounting firms from across the country entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Accounting Firms to Work for. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated firm’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second part consisted of an anonymous employee survey to measure the employee experience which is worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determine the top firms and the final ranking.

The rankings of the 7th Annual Best Accounting Firms to Work for will be unveiled at an awards ceremony recognizing all of the firms on the list during Accounting Today’s 5th Annual Growth & Profitability Summit Nov. 2-4 in Boca Raton, Fla. The list-making firms will also be published in the December issue of Accounting Today.
