Cowlicks Yogurt and Floats Team with Sue Rodman to Raise Awareness and Funds for Alzheimer's Disease

As summer winds down, continues to up the philanthropic ante with its Famous Floats series. Sue Rodman, a popular mom-centric writer at her eponymous blog, “Field Trips with Sue,” now teams up with the fro-yo favorite for the Memory Maker Float. Rodman’s custom creation is available through October 10 and benefits the Alzheimer’s Association.

The themed float fuses Cowlicks’ rich cake batter yogurt and nonfat cookies and cream yogurt with a splash of Barq’s root beer for the perfect concoction. Through October 10, 20 percent of all float sales will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association. The Alzheimer’s Association works nationally, as well as globally, to provide the best care and support for those affected by Alzheimer’s disease. The goal of the association is to accelerate the process of new treatments and ultimately find a cure.

Rodman, a mother of three boys, provides her readers with ideas and reviews on family-friendly activities in and around Atlanta. “Field Trips with Sue” is Nickelodeon Parent’s Pick winner and a Parents.com award nominee. Rodman is also a contributing writer for several travel-focused outlets.
