How to advocate for your child?

There will be a Parent Leadership Conference held on Saturday May 4th, 2013. Time 9 am-1pm. The event will be held at Premier Learning Academy 7225 Six Flags Parkway, Austell, Ga. The purpose of the conference will be to empower parents, community members and interested individuals on the partnership of schools and community working together. There will be breakout sessions on parental involvement, male role models, how to navigate the schools, parent rights, common core standards, middle school success and community capcity building. The event includes breakfast and lunch, door prizes and a chance to win a $50 giftcard. children can attend as well
