Is your hair color fading too quickly?

Hi there, we are your master cosmetologists Karen, Amber and Rebecca at Fantastic Sams here in Smyrna. We want to take a couple of minutes to explain the importance of picking the right shampoo for your color treated hair.

We use the Fantastic Sams Color Protect regimen. You might ask, ‘what makes this color protect regimen so different from the shampoo and conditioners that you pick up from your local super market?’ Well, for starters it has double the color protecting power than other color care regimens.

Now, your second question may be, ‘what is FantasticComplex?’ Well, FantasticComplex is a uniquely blend of pro vitamin B5, soy protein and silicone. FantasticComplex smoothes and strengthens the hair while adding vibrancy and shine. What does that mean? Well, since the pH level of hair is a 5, it’s important to choose products that are around the same pH level of hair. Shampoos that have a really high pH level above 7.0 are typically damaging to the hair. The higher the pH level the harsher and stronger the shampoo and over time will leave your hair very dry and brittle.

The Fantastic Color Protect Condition has a pH level of 2.5-3.5, which locks in moisture, prevents fading and color loss, strengthens your hair from the damage being done by chemical treatments. After you have cleansed your hair you should apply the Fantastic Color Protect Conditioner and leave in for one minute then rinse. The Color Protect Leave-In Conditioner is a great spray that is lightweight and detangles while protecting your color from fading. A big plus, it also controls the static and the fly aways. With a pH level of 4.5-5.5 it is also very good for your hair.

This conditioning masque should be used at least once a week after your have cleansed and towel dried your hair. Leave in for 2-5 minutes then rinse.
