How often do you feel lucky? There are days when you think everything is going wrong, and then out of the clear blue sky, something happens. A moment in the day, maybe you see a homeless man eating out of a dumpster and say, "Well I do not have it that bad". Or maybe you are in traffic and you hit the one lane that actually goes forward at a reasonable speed and you make it to work with one minute to spare. Or is it something more?
Is it your loved ones that care for you day in and day out. Is it the simple things in life? I enjoy time with my son and I feel lucky every day I take the time to do things with him. It is moments in time that I cherish every day. Today I rode a bike with him for the first time. To see his face and the smile upon it, I cannot replace that moment. Tomorrow, off to the dog park and Dunkin Donuts at 6:30am, just the two of us. I cannot replace these moments ever. I just love that boy.
My wife, the love of my life, she does so much for me. She keeps me stable. We share moments together now more than ever. We are on the verge of having another boy, I am so overjoyed with the gifts of life she has. If I did not have her in my life I wonder where I would be right now. Boy am I lucky!

I know this was a different piece than what I have written before, but I wanted people to think where the true happiness in life really is...cherish every moment, look at miserable people and be happy you are not one of them. Love your family because they are what make you who you are and shape what kind of person you want to be.
