Braves Open SunTrust Park On April 13, 2017

A preliminary and unofficial schedule for the Atlanta Braves 2017 schedule shows the team hosting its first game at the new SunTrust Park on April 13 against the San Diego Padres.

The schedule was obtained by the Associated Press, and is tentative and subject to change. The Braves haven't issued any comment.

According to the schedule, the Braves open 2017 with a three-game series against the New York Mets, and then play three games against the Pittsburgh Pirates and a two game set against Miami, before returning to Atlanta to open SunTrust Park with a four-game series against San Diego.

At a topping-out ceremony earlier this month, the Braves said the ballpark in on time and budget.
