Galleria Office Complex Evacuated After Bomb Threat
Reports the note referenced the deadly Orlando shootings were incorrect, police say.
Atlanta, Ga -- Cobb County's Galleria office complex was evacuated Monday morning after a threatening note was discovered and reported to police.
All three buildings were searched throughout the day, with the all-clear being given shortly before 4 pm.

Cobb police spokesman Sgt. Dana Pierce told Patch that "a threatening note was discovered around 9 a.m. on the property," which includes three large office buildings.
"A voluntary evacuation has been orderly, and a number of law enforcement agencies are coordinating in an attempting to find anything unusual on the premises," Pierce said.

On Monday afternoon, Channel 2 Action News reported the note referenced the deadly Orlando nightclub shooting that happened early Sunday morning. But Pierce told Patch that the note is being characterized as a "threatening note only."
Cobb County police and K-9 units began searching each building.
The complex is located in the Smyrna-Vinings community at the intersections of I-75 and I-285, near the new SunTrust Park, where the Atlanta Braves will move next year.
