Bump up in Gas Prices for the Holiday Weekend?

Gas prices have dropped and we here at Patch want to help you find the lowest prices in the Smyrna-Vinings area.

But will the prices keep falling? Channel 2 Action News reported this week that despite the fact that the state gas tax will be frozen Friday by an executive order from Gov. Nathan Deal, gas prices could be on the rise during the course of the holiday weekend.

The news station went on to explain how a clause in the order means that prices could still increase by nearly 2 cents more per gallon.
