CamiCakes Coming to Vinings

CamiCakes has been “creating happiness one cupcake at a time” in Buckhead and now they want to spread the love in Vinings. If all goes according to plan, the cupcake boutique will open its doors July 18 at 4438 Paces Ferry Road in the former Sweet Pockets location.

CamiCakes owner Andra Hall said her customers helped make the decision to open a Vinings location.

“One thing is on our website we get feedback from our customers and that location came up time and time again,” she said. “We get a lot of people who travel from the area or work in the area who come to our store. So we started researching and looking into Vinings. And we thought it would be an excellent location partially because of all of the corporate clients and customers we would have and the residential.”

CamiCakes got its start in Jacksonville, Fla., but has since moved its headquarters to Atlanta. The Vinings store will be the fourth CamiCakes Hall has opened. CamiCakes offers 20 varieties of cupcakes that are baked fresh daily. Red velvet is the most popular choice, said Hall.

The CamiCakes soft opening is scheduled for July 18 with a grand opening celebration tentatively schedule for July 31. The new Vinings location will be open 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
