Car Crashes Through Vinings Restaurant, Still Closed

A car crashed into a Chicken Salad Chick restaurant in Vinings Saturday night. Owners say it'll be closed for the 'foreseeable future.'

COBB COUNTY, GA — Damages caused by a car plowing through a Chicken Salad Chick restaurant in Vinings over the weekend have led owners to close “for the foreseeable future,” they said in a Facebook post.

The crash happened Saturday night after a customer had a stroke that caused them to drive into the building. No one else was seriously injured.

A photo capturing the damage was shared on the Chicken Salad Chick Facebook page. They said in the post the restaurant will be closed as they work on repairing the damages.

“We regret to inform everyone that we will be CLOSED for the foreseeable future,” they wrote.

According to WSB-TV, on Sunday the front entrance of Chicken Salad Chick was boarded up and pieces of shattered glass were still on the ground in the parking lot.
