Carrington Academy Preschools Donate Gifts to Children in Need

Students at Carrington Academy Preschools in the Atlanta area collected more than 600 gifts for KARE for Kids, Inc.

Students at Carrington Academy preschools in the Atlanta area – including Alpharetta, Cumming and Suwanee – collected more than 600 gifts for KARE for Kids, Inc. The donations were the result of star tree programs at eight participating schools, during which students worked together to collect a variety of wish list items, including clothes, shoes, toys and games to benefit local children during the holidays. At the end of the collections, students prepared the donations for pick-up by a representative from the organization. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping others, especially during the holiday season.

KARE for Kids, Inc. takes care of children by addressing their needs. The organization uses the funds it raises to provide necessities to the children of Dawson County, including winter coats, shoes, clothing, medicine, eye glasses, educational resources, summer school fees, toys and more.
