Carolyn Lee Wilson Honored

Cobb-Marietta Retired Educators Association

The Cobb-Marietta Retired Educators Association dedicated their 2017-2018 directory to Carolyn Lee Wilson. Originally from Albert County, and with degrees from Georgia Southern and West Georgia, Carolyn spent her Cobb County career, as an English teacher at McEachern High School and as a Language Arts teacher and Media Specialist at Tapp Middle School where she retired.

A past president of C-MREA, Carolyn carried her love for people right into retirement. It was while she was president that the organization began to contribute to Backpack Blessings. This project sends food home on weekends for needy students. Because of her efforts then, C-MREA continues to contribute to this worthy cause each year.

Currently Carolyn enjoys being the C-MREA Chairman of the North/West Cobb Book Club which stimulates her great love of reading.
