Basking in community approval and enthusiasm, JE Dunn Construction officially opened its new East Region headquarters in metro Atlantaβs Cobb County with a festive ribbon cutting ceremony.
After years of leasing space in the Sandy Springs community of Fulton County, JE Dunn purchased and self-performed extensive renovation of a two-story, 34,000-square-foot building in Cobb, providing a progressive work environment for its employees and heightened visibility for the company.

βWeβre glad to have your brand here,β said David Connell, President and CEO of the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce, at the Grand Opening. Citing the areaβs βhyper growth mode,β Connell declared, βYβall have come to Cobb County at the right time.β
The remodeled building sported a blue, long tail bow for the occasion. It flashed its expressway visibility and showcased JE Dunnβs leadership in workplace design and performanceβfrom adjustable workstations and solar panels that provide 18% of the facilityβs energy, to interactive smart boards and an electric car named Watts. With the renovation, the building can accommodate a third-floor expansion. Company employees were instrumental in re-imagining the β70s-era structure to complement the officeβs work hard-play hard culture. Among amenities: workout gym, putting green, game room and a specially designed stainless steel slide from Germany connecting the buildingβs second and first floors.
