At Burger Park yesterday, we were treated to the sight of circling and calling hawks, so we kept eyes on the sky as well as on the little ones. Today we spotted a coyote watching us. I think it was relatively young, but can't know for sure. He disappeared back into the woody area, and my best guess is that he is hanging out in that relatively quiet area. I suspect he'll keep away from the school, but anyone with small pets and children should keep an eye on them during the immediate future.
