Crime Stoppers Establishes Reward Fund for Case of Murdered Smyrna Woman

Karen Pearce was shot in the head in downtown Decatur. Her body was discovered late on the evening of Dec. 6.

Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta is asking for the public’s help to raise thousands of dollars which will then be offered as reward money for anyone who can provide information about the murder of a Smyrna woman in Decatur.

According to 11 Alive News, the law enforcement program is asking for $20,000 for the reward fund for Karen Pearce, 44, whose body was found late on Dec. 6 near a parking garage in downtown Decatur with a single gunshot wound to the head.

If you have any information about Pearce’s murder which may lead to the arrest of a suspect, please contact Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta by calling 404-577-TIPS (8477), texting “CSA Tip” to CRIMES (274637), or by submitting a tip online. All tips can be made anonymously. Anyone who submits a tip that helps authorities catch Pearce’s killer is eligible for the reward money, 11 Alive News says.
