The Cobb Chapter of the Interfaith Children's Movement will be holding a briefing on the 2012 Georgia Legislative & Issues that affect children all across the state.

The purpose is to inform and educate indivduals, faith communities and civic/social organizations interested in becoming more involved in the legislative process or who would like to be better advocates for children.

Topics include but are not limited to:

• Juvenile Justice Code Rewrite
• Continued funding of HB 200 and CSEC/GA Care Connection
• Unemployment Insurance Legislation
• Temporary Assistance for Needy Families
• Psychotropic Medication Usage in Children
• Mandatory age of school start and age to drop out
