Update: Windy Hill Reopened After Morning Fatal Crash
A Dodge Challenger struck an Oldsmobile Cutlass around 2 am, causing one car to explode. Two other people have serious injuries.

SMYRNA, GA -- Police are investigating a fatal crash Friday morning that shut down Windy Hill Road near Atlanta Road.
The crash happened around 2 am, when an orange Dodge Challenger slammed into a gray Oldsmobile Cutlass. Police tell Channel 2 Action News that the Challenger was traveling at about 100 mph when the crash happened.

The Oldsmobile split in half and exploded, while the Challenger's driver and passenger have been taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital with serious injuries.
