Final Smyrna City Council Meeting Before Election Tonight
Patch will be covering tonight's meeting live in which numerous candidates are expected to make a final case to Jonquil City voters as to why they are the best person for the job.
T-minus one. As in one more day until Election Day when Smyrna citizens will go to the polls to vote for mayor, all seven city council seats and whether they want the right to be able to purchase packaged alcohol in stores on Sundays.
And this final campaigning day should bring some excitement as the Smyrna City Council is set to meet tonight at 7:30 at . The meeting will be televised live on Charter Communications Public Access Channel 19.

No doubt many of Smyrna’s record 19 candidates will take time during citizen input portion to make a final case to Jonquil City voters as to why they are the best person for the job.

(D) Award RFQ 12 022 Heathridge Court Drainage Improvements to the lowest bidder C & L Contractors for$31,898.50 and authorize the Mayor to sign and execute any related documents
(E) Award RFQ 12 023 Dunn Street Drainage Improvements to the lowest bidder Tople Construction & Engineering for $52,553.50 and authorize the Mayor to sign and execute any related documents
(F) Award RFQ 12 024 Smyrna Hill Drive Storm Sewer to the lowest bidder Campbell Contracting for $72,085.00 and authorize the Mayor to sign and execute any related documents
