GDOL to Host Recruitment for Sam's Club in Marietta Next Week

The Georgia Department of Labor’s (GDOL) Cobb-Cherokee Career Center will help Sam’s Club recruit more than 100 sales associates to work in a new store expected to open in the fall in Woodstock. The recruitment will be held Friday, June 26, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the career center, 465 Big Shanty Road, Marietta.

While no previous sales experience is necessary for the jobs, applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or a General Education Diploma (GED). They must also have a class A driver’s license.

Applicants should bring a copy of their resume and dress appropriately to improve their opportunities for employment.

Salaries range from $9.50 to $11 an hour. The company will conduct a background check and drug-screening test on selected applicants.
