Have You Got the Write Stuff?

Have you ever read a book and thought, "I could have written that"?

If you followed up that thought with the actual act of sitting down to write, you may have discovered that it is a far greater chore than you imagined. Thankfully, thousands of writers and aspiring writers dedicate themselves to the task each year, bringing us tales of adventure, heartbreak and redemption. Bookworms like me need our fix!

If you are one of the many brave souls facing that blank page, come join us for some advice and community.

Tanya Michaels is the best-selling author of more than thirty-five romance and women's fiction novels. She is a four-time nominee for the prestigious RITA award, given annually by Romance Writers of America.

Michaels will appear at Smyrna Public Library (100 Village Green Circle, Smyrna) on Tuesday, February 11, at 10:30 a.m. She will share her insights on the art of writing romantic fiction, working as a professional writer, and the changing landscape of publishing.

Michaels will answer questions and sell and sign books after her presentation. The morning includes refreshments and door prizes.
