I-75/285 Bridge Work Begins Thursday Night

The Georgia DOT says that, weather permitting, night time detours will take place for bridge construction at the I-75/I-285 Interchange, from Thursday, March 3 through Saturday, March 5, during the off-peak hours of 10 pm to 5 am.

Traffic traveling I-285 eastbound to I-75 northbound will be directed to take the I-75 southbound exit ramp # 20 to Cumberland Boulevard. Traffic will then be directed to turn left on Cumberland Boulevard followed by another left to then enter I-75 northbound via the ramp from Cumberland Boulevard.

The I-75 southbound ramp to I-285 eastbound collector lanes, #259A, will also be closed, and traffic will need to take exit #259 to to access I-285 eastbound from I-75 southbound.
