Lola Rose Celebrates Anniversary

Much-beloved local boutique Lola Rose is a family affair owned by sisters Alisa Simms and Kristi Gaskin and their mother.

Located in Ivy Walk at 1675 Cumberland Parkway, the chic boutique stocks an array of clothing, handbags, shoes, and accessories that are nowhere else to be found in our area, including Nicole Miller, Lacoste, Ya, and jeans from Black Orchid. Accessory lines include Brighton, Tolani, Yara and Liquid Metal.

Recently, the fun-loving owners ran a “Name Our Deer” contest on Facebook, where fans submitted suggestions to cleverly name their mounted deer head. And on Tuesday, “Belvedere,’’ the Boutique Buck was officially introduced with the contest winner taking home a $50 gift certificate.

Lola Rose’s graphics guru Alisa is excited that she just finished their first Lola Rose holiday gift book, which should be out by the end of the week. Businesswoman sister Kristi understands the promotion angle of running their boutique.  

“We’re having our One Year Anniversary Party on Nov. 10 in the store from 6:30-9:30 p.m. and everyone is invited to enjoy hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine and an early start to your holiday shopping! We offer you a special gift of 15 percent off your entire purchase, for this evening only.”

Lola Rose is also giving back to the community this holiday season by hosting a food drive during the anniversary event. Bring any canned or dried food item, toiletries, cleaning supplies or kitchen supplies and receive an additional $10 off your total purchase.

All items will be donated to The Center for Family Resources in partnership with the Cobb County Department of Family & Children Services.

Lola Rose is also hosting and sponsoring the Smyrna Business Association's Alive After Five event on Nov. 17 in the store.
