Monday Night Escape: City Council Meeting or Hooters?

It’s Monday night, which means you’re bound for Smyrna for tonight’s Mayor and City Council meeting at 7:30, right?

There will be a presentation to and recognition of the student government president, but overall it appears to be a light agenda. But then again, one never knows.

No shock that all the land and zoning issues have been tabled for at least another month, but the committee reports and citizen input portion of the meeting will no doubt again produce a surprise or two.

The public is invited to attend, but you don’t have to miss a thing even if you decide not to. So what are you going to do this Monday night? Well there are options. It’s dollar night at Sparkles, where admission and skate rental is just one buck each from 6-9 p.m.

Noche in Vinings has $1 tacos on Monday (excluding the lobster taco), and of course its daily offering of $5 house margaritas and $2 Tecate beer.

At in the West Village, the mug night club shines where 26-ounce Newcastles go for $6 and wings are 24 cents all day.
