Paces Ferry Road to be Partially Closed on Sunday

Atlanta, GA -- A section of Paces Ferry Road between the intersection with Paces Mill Road and Cochise Drive in Vinings will be closed beginning at 10 a.m., Sunday, June 26.

Georgia Power will be replacing several utility poles in the vicinity of the Cobb County Vinings fire station.

The road closure is anticipated to last approximately eight hours.

To facilitate the safe and efficient relocation of poles, Georgia Power must turn off power to 18 residential customers in the immediate vicinity. They are being contacted directly by Georgia Power; no business customers will be impacted.

Cobb County recommends New Paces Ferry Road as a quick detour around this construction.
