'Park With Art'

The Taylor-Brawner House Foundation and the City of Smyrna are pleased to announce the annual fine art exhibit and sale, to be held at Smyrna's historic Taylor-Brawner House, October 7th to the 16th. Open daily noon to 5:00 p.m., and for those wishing to come later, until 8:00 p.m. on the 11th and 13th. This popular art show has grown to include over 2 dozen of the region's most talented and best known painters, potters, wood turners and weavers. Each piece displayed will be for sale and is an original creation, jury selected for quality, beauty, and originality. Some of this year's featured artists include Dick Yarborough, Marsha Hamby Savage, Shane McDonald, Ronnie Offen, B.J. Hatcher, Sonya Ingle, Rebecca Brown, and Virginia Dauth, each one recognized and awarded for their outstanding creations. Be sure to get a preview of the art work at an opening day reception held on Friday evening October 7th, 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., and take advantage of a silent auction of several original pieces. Come celebrate the arts with us October 7th to the 16th and enjoy the works of many of the regions most gifted artists.
