UPDATE: Smyrna Police Seek Witnesses in Sunday Fatality

A man was stuck and killed by a car when crossing the street Sunday afternoon in Smyrna, and police now want to talk to anyone who may have seen the incident take place.

The pedestrian was crossing Windy Hill Road near South Cobb Drive at 1:48 p.m. when he was struck by a vehicle, according to police. The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver is being interviewed, police say.
